“Trekking With Silverback Gorillas” YouTube Video Is Live

In May 2024, we brought 16 World Playground Members on a Silverback gorilla adventure through Rwanda & Uganda for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We observed these gentle giants in their natural habitat witnessing their intricate social behaviors, playfulness, and the undeniable bond between family members.

We partnered with Volcanoes Safaris who has been at the forefront of reviving gorilla and chimpanzee ecotourism in Uganda and Rwanda for over twenty five years. Volcanoes Safaris allowed us to completely take over two of their best lodges (Virunga Lodge in Rwanda and Mount Gahinga Lodge in Uganda). This allowed us to customize our itinerary and offer our Members bespoke culinary and cultural experiences as the lodging staff were available entirely for our guests.
